Accessibility at the board room

Games are for EVERYONE
We do our best to ensure all guests have access to our collection in a fun and safe way!

If you would like to set up any additional accommodations before your visit, please email info@boardroomgames.ca!

We'd love to make sure your visit fits your needs.

ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE

Outside our front door there is a ramp up beside the outer stairs. Then, our main entrance into the cafe does use stairs, but we have access to The Thompson Building's elevator!
+ If you are visiting on a weekday afternoon, The Thompson Building main doors are open to the lobby, where you can access the elevator to come in. Simply head down to the basement floor and you'll see our interior door to your right.
+ On weeknights and weekends the building door is locked, but if you ring our doorbell one of our staff will run up to let you into the lobby with the elevator ASAP!

If you or one of your party needs additional space for a wheelchair or other equipment, we recommend letting us know on the phone or via the booking notes when you book your table, so we can ensure you get the best table with plenty of space :)

BRAILLE GAMES

We have a small collection of games that have braille conversion kits in them! These are by request only as they are delicate. If you'd like to use one, just ask your Game Boss!

If you or one of your party is immunocompromised, or need a private space for health or sensory reasons - please reach out to us at info@boardroomgames.ca to discuss pre-booking our semi-private side room.
*Availability of the space may vary, as we can only offer this space on off peak hours.
